A new race: the Skyborne
The first new race, playable on both sides (High Order for the Alliance, Windshaper for the Horde), with its own starting zone, Zephras Isle.
Skyborne racials →WoW Forever is a new, permanent version of the original game, from level 1 to 60, launching November 4. Here is everything that changed from Classic so far, from Blizzard's announcements and the beta game data.
The first new race, playable on both sides (High Order for the Alliance, Windshaper for the Horde), with its own starting zone, Zephras Isle.
Skyborne racials →Every race now has two active and two passive racial abilities, many of them new.
All racials →The trees keep the same number of rows, with milestones at 11, 21 and 31 points plus a new one at 16. Divine Spirit, Blessing of Kings and Improved Mark of the Wild are now baseline for their classes.
Talent calculator →Spell, melee and ranged hit are now one stat, and so is crit. Healing power also gives a third as much spell damage, caster weapons can carry spell power, and new stats lower the enemy's dodge and parry.
The Cooking Fire becomes a Basic Campfire: a campsite with vendors, repairs, profession workstations and buffs that last an hour. Each profession has three camp objects, the first unlocked at skill 20; advanced ones come from Blueprint recipes that drop from dungeon bosses.
Camping guide →Account-wide Legacy Points from challenges like leveling a class or reaching profession milestones. You spend them per character in three trees (Professions, Adventure, Resourcefulness): up to 16 per character at launch, out of 65 you can earn. A separate reward track only gives cosmetics.
Legacy guide →You pick a ruleset instead: Normal, PvP, Roleplay, or Hardcore (after launch). You can only group within your ruleset and faction. Names come in two parts and are unique per region, like "Ana Forever".
Every dungeon drop was re-examined and hundreds were added. Unique boss items are now blue, set bonuses got better, and bind-on-pickup dungeon drops give their look to every eligible player in the group.
Over 600 new recipes across the professions and level ranges, and crafted food now gives a little bonus experience on top of its stats.
Professions →An ordinary enemy should take a solo player about 10 to 15 seconds to kill. Crowd control like Polymorph, Fear and Banish still matters in dungeons.
New talents in each class, straight from the beta. Changed means a Classic talent that works differently now; moved means it sits in another place in the tree.
